Robert Tipton Jr. serves as the President of the Desoto County NAACP Branch and Sixth Vice President of the Mississippi State Conference. He is a graduate of Horn Lake High School and received a B.S. in Liberal Arts and Professional Studies from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. He served six years in the United States Armed Forces and retired as a manager for FedEx after 24 years. Rev. Tipton is the Pastor of St. Mary M.B. Church in Hernando, MS. He is married with four children.
