Anner Cunningham

Anner Cunningham is an Assistant Vice President, Risk Data Analyst II with the Emerging Markets team for Cadence Bank. Cadence Bank is a Tupelo, MS based financial institution with more than $44 billion in total assets and more than 400 full-service branch locations including mortgage, insurance, and loan production offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas, including an insurance location in Illinois.

Prior to joining Cadence, Anner worked at the Center for Higher Education, encouraging post-secondary education and trade opportunities for non-traditional students. She also created Golden Triangle Housing Services, a non-profit certified HUD housing counseling agency, where she served as Executive Director for 10 years.

Anner is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she obtained her Masters in Community Economic Development. Her undergraduate accomplishment includes having the honor of being the first student to receive three bachelor’s degrees at Mississippi State University: Banking and Finance, Mortgage & Real Estate Finance, and Risk Management & Insurance.

A Diamond Life member, Anner serves on the Mississippi NAACP State Conference Executive Committee as the 2nd Vice President, Revitalization Committee Chair and was the past Economic Chair for five years. She is the current Clay County NAACP President. Mrs. Cunningham is married with one son, Frank Cunningham III, a nine-year-old Junior Life Member of the NAACP.
