Justice Rose is a native of Madison, Mississippi. He is the son of the honorable, late Judge Willie and Barbara Rose. Justice is a junior at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, double majoring in Journalism and English. At the state’s flagship university, he is a Chancellor’s Honor Roll scholar, a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the opinion editor at the Daily Mississippian publication, a Talbert Fellow in the School of Journalism and New Media, a recipient of the Stamps Scholarship Award – the most prestigious undergraduate academic award offered at the university, and, most proudly, the vice president of the university’s NAACP chapter. Justice’s motto in leadership of the NAACP is “To advocate, empower, and congregate as the whole minority, is to present ourselves as the responsible majority.”
